The AI producers are breathing a sigh of relief, but I'm disappointed. It would have been such an exquisite pleasure to watch the hacks at 19 Entertainment try to turn Hambert into the clean-cut, middle of the road pop star they most desperately crave, and to watch Adam squirm as he tried to find some microscopic speck of edge in that unholy, disastrously awful, Hallmark card of a "winner's song".
Sadly, neither Kris nor Adam really captured my attention, and most of the last week, my mind has been much less on "who's gonna win" and almost entirely on "is it finally time for So You Think You Can Dance?!"
