Reno's head pulsed and it felt like his brain just wanted to..jump out of his skull. He remembered drinking a lot with Axel the night before, having called a celebration for the news he had heard from his younger brother. He was moving out. And as much as he loved his brother, he was kinda excited to have the house to himself but then there would be a nagging thought in the farthest part of his mind. He'd be lonely. As if he wasn't already ( ... )

Larxene wasn't one to pay much attention to her neighbors, admittedly. Sure, she'd spent a few evenings in her window seat, listening to the shrieks coming from Axel's house that undoubtedly belonged to the blonde brat he'd been seeing for awhile. (And hey, she'd had the perfect view when Roxas defaced Axel's car with his skateboard; that had been pretty entertaining.) But regardless - little real attention was turned their way, and had Larxene not stopped where she had on the sidewalk to contemplate the benefits of stabbing her eyes out, she'd have ignored Reno's voice all together ( ... )

Reno was taken by surprise by Larxene's voice, looking up with awe struck eyes. He'd always had this thing for fire and now that he can control it. No no, can make fire with his own fingers, it made his blood boil with excitement. But his excitement was put on hold when he noticed that Larxene's eyes were closed. His green eyes blinked, looking down to make sure he had indeed put on his clothes.

He toed on a pair of shoes since he was only clad in socks under his jeans. He walked over to her, peering at the blonde. "..This may sound dumb but is there any reason as to why you have your eyes closed?"

Upon hearing the redhead approach, Larxene cracked one eye open. Closer proximity, as much as she didn't like people invading her mile-wide personal space-bubble, made it far easier to keep focused on his face. Both eyes blinked fully open, brows drawn together in an irritated frown.

"Because I have a headache," she replied blandly, before giving another absent gesture to Reno's hands. "That fire thing, do it again. If you can, that is."

So. Gender-switching, body-switching, weird animals and dinosaurs and magic wands and... what now? Magic powers? If that's what the deal was, Larxene thought whatever higher power was playing with them could take its sense of humor and shove it up their ass. Seeing through peoples' clothing was not a power she'd ever once thought would be a good idea.
