So there's this guy in Russia, Zdzislaw Beksinski, who has really amazing dreams. After he has these dreams, he wakes up and paints the things that he saw. I thought you would...your drawings remind me a lot of something he would do. Unfortunately, I've never seen any of your art in color, and even though his colors are incredibly muted, I think they are an important part in creating the mood of his pictures. You should do more works in color (maybe, maybe not).
By the way, I'm going to be painting over break...hopefully painting a whole lot. I'm planning on going out to the dunes to paint a few times (which will be kind of difficult with the cold, but I've done it before). I would really like for you to come if you would like. Let me know if you want to and we can set a date or two.

hmm well ill take that as a completment...yeah color, ive been playing around with it this past semester. if you'd like you can see some of my more recent stuff in color.
and i would love to go to the dunes to paint i think that would be spectacular
