Wow, first-class is amazing... but I still have to say that I'm cheap and I would rather skimp on the flight and then spend money when I'm there! However, hm, miles....nah, I would rather use them for free travel. I like abusing my person. =)
Heehee, all the girls are wearing black! I love how you're kind of pushing the boundaries with your dress. Speaking of dresses, I had a hard time figuring out which one was Yoko's 3rd dress! Mainly because I couldn't tell the second from the first... The third dress's the fuschia-reddish-pink one, right? I liked that one best as well.
Yay! Thanks for the update :) It's interesting to see the differences and similarities between Japanese and American weddings. I'm so jealous you got to fly first class. I hope someday I can do that too. And now I really want to go to Japan again :P
Yep, hopefully I'll be a bit quicker with part 2~ (who knows, might happen this coming weekend : P ) Similarities? ^^; Having trouble finding those other than basics - white dress, ring, bouquet (not thrown), and (kinda) chapel. But you would know more than me, what did I miss? ^.^
I'm jealous of myself now too, I wanna go again ;_; Got one word for ya: miles~ You should come to Mackey's wedding ^_~ It's a good excuse to go to Japan and it's next year~
Well yeah, the basics of the wedding are what I was thinking of. It seemed more like a western wedding than say a traditional Indian or Chinese wedding might be. But I also don't know what a "traditional" Japanese wedding is like. Did they have one or was it different?
I wish I could fly to Japan next year, but we're flying out to California for my step sister's wedding and with flights being as expensive as they are, and Ben's leave time being what it is, we can't really take any other long trips.
Different, this was a 'western' wedding, not a full Shinto wedding: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2061.html (Shinto = traditional, chapel = western basically, although the chapel is really more affect, it's not because the bride or groom are actually Christian ^^; ) No one I know is religious enough to have a full-on Shinto wedding, it would be interesting though (I've seen videos).
Ah, that's too bad ^^; Maybe you'll be able to visit SF during your CA trip? (if it helps Mackey's wedding is during Golden Week which is not making me look forward to it as much -_- )
