Early Monday morning, Taylor took me to the ER for a possible kidney infection. I was pissing blood, vomiting, I could barely walk, and my back hurt. After spending several hours in the uncomfortable cot on 0 hours of sleep, they gave me an IV of saline solution, antibiotics, and anti-nausea. I went home and slept about 24 hours of 48. I'm glad you're feeling better & hope you don't ever have to experience something that again!

I wouldn't cut caffeine completely out of the diet--try downsizing to 2 cups of coffee in the morning and compensate by drinking water, some milk, and a little bit of veg/fruit juice the rest of the day. Your skin, kidneys, and other internal organs will thank you. Also, try experimenting with your hours of sleep per night to see how many hours you actually need (it might be as high as 9 or 10). Getting plenty of sleep and setting a routine should (I can't promise though) enable you to do all of these things.

I know it sucks--at the hospital, I have to work 8-5 during the week & find that I come home, snack, watch the news, head to the gym for 1.5 hours, get home to cook, shower, talk to John, and then it's bedtime. I leave cleaning & homework for Saturday/Sunday. However, I have ~no social life while I'm in Bowling Green.

I miss you & hope we can hang out in late March (I'll be in Lex. that weekend).

Oh, I failed to mention that I'm a zombie until those 2 cups of coffee in the morning! But if you got tired of reading that long post just try to get enough sleep & drink more water.

Bless your poor heart! What a HORRIBLE thing to go through! I hope that never happens again! Does caffeine have something to do with your terrible adventure to the hospital? If not, why do you want to cut it out? You aren't sucking down whole pitchers of coffee, are you?

Of course Harry Potter is better ;-). Golden Compass is good (sans ending of the third book), but your correct assessment reaffirms my knowledge of your high intelligence. (Well, because obviously Harry Potter = intelligence)
