So I work with a very opinionated nurse who's got me re-thinking this whole LNP to RN ladder thing. She really thinks that soon WA state will require that all nurses have their BSN in order to be a new hire. Let me know if you've got nursing school questions. I think just getting your RN makes most sense unless the odds of finding an LPN job are high for you. However, I think this nurse is wrong that all new grads will need a BSN. We just don't have the faculty or the resources at four year schools to get everyone through. So the Associate level RN will exist for awhile. Plus UW Bothell has a good RN-BSN bridge program that many hospitals will pay part of.

However, the UW isn't more picky on grades than most community colleges they do want to see way more experience though (volunteer, work, etc.)which you totally kick ass on! Grades only account for something like 25% of your application evaluation.

If you like your current program and think you'll get in then I'd just finish that. You can often even do the bridge to BSN online too...
