inquiring minds want to know-vampire novels over or not?

I am ridiculously in love with vampire novels and I have this idea, but I don't know... what do YOU think? Are vampire novels over or not? I'm already working on something else, but THIS idea keeps calling to me. That's typical though.

I will ALWAYS be a vampire girl. I have been since I was 4. No one will ever take my love of vampires away. Write a story that hasn't been written and I will read it as will everyone else in the world. Vampires are NOT over. They need a makeover:)

I don't believe anything's "over" as long as you bring your own unique vision to it.

I say write it down. Or at least a chapter or two. Wasn't DEAD IS THE NEW BLACK at first just an idea too? And look how well you've done with that series! I admit, as a reviewer, I've been getting a lot of vamp stories to review. But on the other hand if the story is compelling with an unique twist it'll still sell. Plus you have your fab agent too to help sell it!

Yes, there are tons of vampire novels, aren't there? But I seem to read them all.

It's the unique twist that's the tough part.

Good Vampire novels aren't over! I'm over all the bad ones or the romance novels that they throw supernatural creatures into! I love your stuff, so I'm sure it'll be a Vampire book worth reading! :-)
