Favourite song of the moment. This guy has some awesome, very unique folkly sounding stuff. Listening to some of his work is like feeling that you missed your train in Siberia and had to hitch a ride with a gypsy caravan trying to make their way to Paris. Scenic World and Prenzlaurberg are also very nice.

Hee, Flissy and I play Beirut in our practices all the time. Including one very silly song that always signals that we are too looped to keep going.

Ha! That's brilliant. And I can see how this album would be good to practice to. So many interesting influences. Actually, on another vid on youtube they do this 'take away show' where they start walking down a street in Paris and they preform this song. I thought it would be awesome if they continued on walking (they stop at one point) and had a few dancers with them too. That would have been interesting! :)
