I found out yesterday that a friend from my taekwondo-training days has his funeral this saturday. He died in an accident at his own bachelor party. No alcohol, just really bad luck. He was a very friendly and bright guy, a researcher and a musician

I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend. My heart goes out to you, his family, and especially his bride. I just don't know what I would do in her situation.

The memorial service (I don't know if this is the right word - an event after the funeral) was touching especially because of the braveness of the parents. I'd never met his family, and it was startling to see that the friend of mine was an image of his father. Same expressions, open-heartedness and joyous personality
