Is a "successfull relaionship" a relationships that ends in marriage?

I would have to say that marriage is a symptom of a successful relationship more than a "finish line".

in my opinion, GOOD communication, open, honest, most importantly, LOVE and comitment. All those things are what create a "succesfull relationship" ...

one that lasts, where the fruit of that relationship is joy, joy is the fruit of a succsessfull relationship NOT the motivation for a relationship...
