[obviously, there's not going to be a response. icy blue eyes are wide and staring, but they look so empty, so dead. a frog-butterfly lands on his hair, strangely colored wings flapping idly in the dawn's light. luckily, his body seemed to be in the shade, for now]

[Itachi's attention was centered on the fact that the sky about him was slowly beginning to lighten. If there was something he knew, light wasn't good for any vampire. He started heading off towards where he assumed Asher was, his pace picking up.]

[He wasn't positively certain Asher was dead since; technically, he believed a vampire was all ready dead in the first place. [Itachi's sudden appearance scares the winged frog, sending it fluttering into the brightening sky. if frogs could look annoyed, this one certainly would.

Asher's body is dead weight, limp as a noddle but heavy as lead. at 6'1", he's certainly not an easy burden to drag anywhere]

[if he was alive, he'd be so very glad to see you, Cinders. but with dawn's coming, he's as good as dead to the world. that scared look on his face is almost haunting, as he's normally so calm, so together. with the way he's laying, his facial scars are exposed, his bare torso pressed into the damp earth]
