On the slim chance anyone actually watched this AMC show, my post will be under a cut.
What were they thinking?
This show started off with SO much potential. It started as a slow burn as billed, but then nothing. I wanted all these characters to be connected to Rosie's death in some way, shape, or form. Even if a momentarily fleeting moment of connection. There were red herrings everywhere. The middle of the season dragged like a cat stuck in a spilled maple syrup. The characters? Development? Not so sure about even that at this point. I can honestly say that I don't think I cared about any of them.
Am I the only one who misunderstood that we'd find out who the actual killer was at the end of the season? Was everyone else suprised that we didn't find out?
My 'bad feeling' started when an entire episode was centered around her MIA kid. Who cares? It feels like this show could've been so much more. What happened to good TV? Why can't anyone tell a good story anymore? I think I've been spoiled by my talented FList. My FList could write circles around half these TV writers.
Jeepers.
Is it too much to ask to string stuff together and not just toss a bunch of junk at us and then do nothing with it? I should've known better. Every time I hit the DVR to watch The Killing, the husband fell asleep. It was hard to hear all that rain over his snoring.
What do you think my FList? Did you like it. Will you turn in for season 2?
Hee! That felt pretty damn good! :)
