Riku is one of the first people Katherine met in Adstringendum, which is definitely a strong point in his favor, as are his manners. So she gets along quite well with him in terms of finding him pleasant company.

Some of his beliefs, however... She's already told him she doesn't think he's heading in a good direction. This is still true. If she knew everything, some of what he's done and some of what he accepts are simply not at all tolerated in her world and world view. She is capable of overcoming those prejudices to see the person instead, but it takes effort.
