Hello dear friend, it's been a while
And I've been unsure as to how to greet you after so long
Should I come running with open arms or should I tread softly
I used to know your ever scratch, every mark
If there are new scars will I notice them,
Will I see them - Will I be able to stop staring?
Will things look the same?

Wasn't that rehearsal for choir wonderful tonight? (if you couldn't catch the sarcasm... it's totally there!) Just think once the concert is finished tomorrow... we won't have another concert - until the following weekend... ech! It's great being in choir with you.
