  1. Elaborate on your default icon. It's a merge of the Cobra and Decepticon logo's from the 80s cartoons/comics; They were a big part of my childhood, and I carry a fondness for both to this day.
  2. What's your current relationship status? Single
  3. Ever have a near-death experience? Yeah, I had a Staph Infection that expanded rapidly in my nose; If I hadn't gotten it treated as quickly as I did (it all went down in under 24 hours) it would've gotten into my brain.
  4. Name an obvious quality you have. I am attentive.
  5. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now? Soulja Boy
  6. Any celeb you would marry? About the only celebrity that caught my attention like that was Rachel Leigh Cook.
  7. Who will cut and paste this first? Hmm, if I had to guess, I'd say Jal. Mostly 'cause I'll badger him about it.
  8. Has anyone ever said you look like a celebrity? Yup -- not as often as it used to be since he was never a big celebrity, but I was always compared to Jeremy Miller (who played Ben on Growing Pains) whenever I had short blond hair.
  9. Do you wear a watch? What kind? Heavens no, that's what cell phones are for. Otherwise I wear pocket watches of various brands.
  10. Do you have anything pierced? Not a chance in hell.
  11. Do you have any tattoos? Nope, if I ever got one it'd either be one of those new black light tattoos, or it'd be my LJ default icon on my shoulder.
  12. Do you like pain? Pain and I are not friends, unless it came on the football field.
  13. Do you like to shop? Yeah, it's a weakness.
  14. What was the last thing you paid for with cash? A late fee on a dvd I checked out from the school library.
  15. What was the last thing you paid for with your credit card? Chinese food for lunch - orange chicken.
  16. Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone? Normally the answer would be Yele :p, but right now it was the wife of one of my real life friends.
  17. What is on your desktop background? http://www.dccomics.com/media/covers/8811_400x600.jpg, the upcoming 13th issue of the Justice Society of America comic series. Yes I'm a comic geek, and I'm not ashamed.
  18. What is the background on your cell phone? My cell phone is ancient, a Nokia 6010 -- it doesn't do backgrounds.
  19. Do you like redheads? I do, but with no special affinity. I'm an equal opportunity lover of hair colors.
  20. Do you know any twins? The doctors thought I was going to be a twin....(and I'm left handed so "creepy"), but in real life I know several, most notably the Pitts Brothers, who I've not seen in far too long but who were once good friends.
  21. Do you have any weird relatives? I have an aunt who once checked herself into a mental health institute as a drama stunt (or whatever nice word you want to use) and got furious when her mother wouldn't come and check her back out.
  22. What was the last movie you watched? Lumumba, the story of the Congo Prime Minister who was betrayed and assassinated; Now the last movie I watched for fun was Curse of the Golden Flower -- which had a similar body count but was at least prettier.
  23. What was the last book you read? Telling the Truth About History, by Joyce Appleby. Go go historiography; Now for the last book I read for fun...crap...I started working on Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb, but I need to get cracking on my WoT re-reads for the Soldier test.
  24. Is there such a thing as love at first sight, or it is more likely to be "lust at first sight"? My parents (who were both in their mid 20s at the time) met, and were engaged within a week.. I was their first born, and I didn't come around till four years into the marriage. They just celebrated their 33rd anniversary this summer. So yeah, I was raised to believe in Love at First Sight.
  25. What's your favorite book? Used to be The Great Gatsby, and hell, prolly still is. I even created an audiobook version of it (using my own voice) for blind kids who went to school in my county for my senior NHS project back in high school.
  26. When was the last time you visited the street where you first lived? I first lived on a military base, and I don't think I've been back there since I left it at six months old, though I have been to the hospital I was born at -- went there maybe 8 or 9 years ago.
  27. When was the last time you googled your own name? About a year ago, still as blank as ever, thankfully.
  28. What was/is your favorite subject at school? History, o'course (History major)
  29. What was is your least favorite subject at school? I never did enjoy home economics. Hated having to take Spanish also, due to the conflict between Latin and Orchestra.
  30. Do you like having your photograph taken? When I was thinner, yes. Now, not so much.
  31. What time were you born? 12:40 AM est.
  32. Ever seriously questioned your sanity? Seriously? No. Though I vividly remembering, as a child of 9 or so, wondering if evil people realized they were evil when they were children.
  33. How many phone numbers do you have remembered and can say off the top of your head? Lots. More than I can keep track of without writing them down as I go. For safety's sake we'll say 15, but I could prolly get up to 20.
  34. Can you limbo? Hell no.
  35. Have you ever killed your own dinner? Back when I enjoyed eating fish, I'd often kill my own dinner. Things with legs, otoh, no.
  36. How long have you been living at your current residence? Too long, graduation and relocation, please hurry.
  37. What phobias do you have? Death about wraps it up for me, but that also segues into a fear of the unknown in general, which can be terrifying.
  38. What's your ideal breakfast? Fresh fruit, pancakes, sausage (not too spicy), bacon, a good grain cereal (I'm on a product 19 kick right now), and a glass of milk and a glass of mango juice.
  39. Where are you right now? Student center, getting ready to dash off to class.
  40. Why do you blog? As rarely as I post? I technically don't. :p; I'm new to this community, and I thought the blogs would be a good way to get some facts about me for folks that don't have the luxury of chatting on the phone with me for hours at a time and are just getting to know me.
  41. What would you call your autobiography? My Candle Burned at Both Ends.
  42. What's the longest time you've stayed out of the country/where? two Four year stretches, both bouncing around different cities in Germany. Go Go military brat.
  43. Do you use ICQ, AIM, etc..? oh man, I never log in to ICQ (I was 1796158) anymore. Marrowlight@hotmail.com, marrowdrinker for aim.
  44. Do you have nightmares frequently? Just about every night.
  45. If you were another person, would you be friends with you? As friendly as I am? I'd hope so.
  46. Which TV character could you be friends with? tons and tons, but I'd have really loved hanging out with the characters from Studio 60.
  47. What's on your mouse pad? No mousepad here, I use a laptop.
  48. What is your ring tone? "Nokia Tune", I really am not a cell phone person.
  49. What did you watch on TV last night? Reaper, Pushing Daisies, and NCIS, though mdd provided the highest quality entertainment last night.
  50. Scary movies or happy endings? Both? I kid, Happy Endings.
