So this is gonna be ridiculously cheesy of me and YOU ARE IN NO WAY OBLIGED. But in celebration of Valentine’s Day and us, I would like to tell you a story of two girls.
AHEM.
You are absolutely basically one of my best friends and I love you dearly. You are such a fantastic person and someone I feel I can always talk to, no matter the subject. And not only that, you were pretty much my first friend when I came into Fandom and you helped me through things and were so welcoming and warm. And. Guh, sometimes I am so glad to just have your presence in my life. ♥
SO. UM. LET’S START THIS THING.

nce upon a time, I owned this kickass Harry Potter theme bakery. You know. Since we’re going there and all. And all the magical sweets are produced, but I would be sure to produce the best for you! You would get the chocolately-est chocolate frog to exist. You would. Really.
but not that one because it’s weird looking
And you would totally sit by the window with your laptop AND TYPE ALL THE BEAUTIFUL WORDS EVER ABOUT BROTHERS IN LOVE. And just so you know, I totally save that spot for you AT ALL TIMES. JUST FOR YOU. IT IS REVERSED, SO YOU CAN HAVE ALL THE WONDERFUL SUNLIGHT BEAMING DOWN ON YOU AND THE COLORFUL PEOPLE OF THE STREETS WALK BY AND BE INTERESTING AND AWESOME AND YOU MAY POSSIBLY PEOPLE WATCH. IS THAT A THING YOU WOULD CARE FOR DOING?
THIS IS HOW I PICTURE YOU WHEN YOU WRITE, BTW
And I would always serve you at your table and refill your tea and butter beer. Even though it’s not in my job description. I would anyway.
ANYWHO. SO. THIS HARRY POTTER BAKERY, HUH? SEEMS LIKE A PRETTY NEAT PLACE. WHERE A LOT OF OUR FRIENDS CAN COLLECT TO AND BE NERDY AND AWESOME TOGETHER. WELL, LADY, YOU ARE RIGHT. IT IS THAT KIND OF PLACE.
ABSOLUTELY.
So, they would see us pretty much all the time and be badass and witty side characters to us. And behind our backs they would be all “LOL. THOSE TWO ARE IDIOTS”
BUT WE ARE OBLIVIOUS AND PINING. OH NO. THIS IS NOT CLICHÉ AT ALL.
Of course we figure our shit out though. Through plenty of miscommunication and lulzy shenanigans. BE WARNED. THEY MAY INCLUDE FROSTING WARS AND SUCH THINGS OF THAT PARTICULAR NATURE.
And then we’re like “Oh, LOOK AT THAT. WE ARE IN LOVE. AND WE COULD’VE BEEN DOING THIS WHOLE “BEING IN LOVE” THING TOGETHER IF WE BOTH WEREN’T SO SILLY.” (BUT THEN WHERE IS THE STORY IN THAT?)
So, of course we want to bring the news to all our friends! And we’re all
“HEY FRIENDS, WE HAVE A PRETTY BIG ANNOUNCEMENT. IT’S AWESOME. AND A BIG DEAL. A VERY BIG DEAL. WE ARE VERY MUCH IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER AND LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL AND NOTHING HURTS.”
And all our friends just stare blankly before going “WELL, FINALLY” Then everyone is trading cash in from their bets (BETS!) and not being the least surprised! WE ARE KIND OF MIFFED BY THIS. THEY COULD HAVE FAKED IT, AT LEAST.
BUT NOW LIFE IS AT THIS WONDERFUL PLACE, THERE IS ONLY ONE MORE THING:
