It's only the next morning when he's going over the events from the night before that he realizes it was Ben's voice delivering that little lecture. Ben teaching that class of people... he finds himself wondering what species they are, realizes he's somehow equating them to mushi. Strange; Ben obviously thought of them as people... he puts it aside for now.
Ben's words are good, strong words, words to live by. Cloud knows instinctively he did that in his old life. He's been failing to do it here, most of the time.
Maybe it's time to work a little harder at it. If there's one thing Edensphere offers, it's plenty of practice in taking things in stride.]
