I'm getting one for a couple of reasons. 1: I like the idea of having a device that plays games and music, so I don't have to carry around multiple devices for it. 2: It has a camera. I currently have no phone, and getting pictures off it is a pain unless I'm specifically on MY PC. 3: I'm going to retire my DS Lite by giving it to Crystal, who is currently rocking a barely functional DS Phat.

Well, at the very least, you'll be able to upload them to a website in .swf form somehow.

I would be tempted to get a DSi just for its ACTUALLY FUNCTIONAL 802.11 CONNECTION....

....but I'll have to see some cooler exclusive apps before I wanna get something like that.

Im holding off for a bit due to poorness, lack of a critical reason to switch at this time, and I want one in a color I like.
