Well, I wouldn't say the actor's are that unknown.

Spock's on "Heroes"
Scotty did "Hot Fuzz" and "Shawn of the Dead"
McCoy was in "Lord of the Rings" and "Chronicles of Riddick"
Sulu starred in the "Harold and Kumar" series

Haven't seen any of those :( Well.. I did see McCoy's movies but I don't remember him from either. Who was he in LOTR?

definately see Hot Fuzz, that is the biggest mindfuck comedy Ive ever seen. Like previews dont due justice to the mind blowing complexity of the thing.

Star Trek though, phenomenal, I saw it in Imax, I was infinitely impressed by just the shear respect of the product.

In LOTR, he was Eomer (only in TTT and ROTK),

In Chronicles, I believe his character's name was Lord Vaco. He was the 2nd in command to the Lord Marshal, and he had that Lady Macbeth-ish wife who kept pushing him to take over.
