She speeds down the stairs, perhaps, a bit more excited than she'll admit.]

[Veronica blinks in surprise. One blink, two blinks. She tilts her head back in inclination, the hoodie head over her head, haphazardly obscuring the taller man just above her from her eyes. Oh, there's David. Veronica sees yellow, looks back down as she pulls the hoodie off. Examination of the goods is in order. Once Veronica realises what it is, her jaw drops in utter amazement.]

You. [She jabs a finger at David's chest. Veronica tugs at the ears of the hoodie, as she works to put it on. It. Is. Cute.] Are an all-star hero. Skywalker's got nothing on you, man.

[He's just grinning at the entire sight. Again. She reminds him of Millie in some ways. Neither of them hold back much on showing when they're happy. He tugs on the front of the hood, pulling it down a little to cover her eyes.]

[Cue some blindness in five, four-- cut to blindness now! Light's a bit filtered out! Veronica tugs up the hood front, brushing blonde hair out of her eyes and letting the material of the hood flop back up, very much resisting the urge to stick a tongue out like a child.

Veronica jabs a half-hearted, light, pointless punch of undisguised enthusiasm at David's shoulder as she breaks into a wide grin.]

All-star's modest, too. [The obvious (blatantly untruthful) statement is obvious.] Whatever will the fans think?

Veronica wraps the hoodie closer. It's nice and snug. She tilts her head to meet David's eyes, careening her head to the side in unfounded curiosity.]

Now that'd be telling. [He puts on a thoughtful face, looking around] I suppose I could tell you that there'd be something to do with cars and motorbikes. Possibly a little jet-skiing. ...quad-biking.

[Veronica thinks about it, like she actually has to think about it. David has her at cars. Oh, and, motorbikes -- jet skiing, and, dude, quad-biking. They all just add fuel to a burning, soaring, sky-high flame.

Bars also never hurt, and coffee too. Veronica Mars approves.]

Sign me up quick, boy. I want to do all sorts and as much adventuring as this City entails. [Veronica grins up at him] That offer better not run off soon. Coffee would also rock. I like 'em bitter and constant. So, let's.

[It's all down to whatever he can stumble across during his journeys. Rock climbing, he wasn't sure about. That hadn't really been something he'd looked for. But now she'd mentioned it, he'd keep an eye open fora good site.]

Consider it an open-ended invite. Though the offer for coffee right now? Ends tonight. So we should probably go and use that one before it's out.
