The job finished printing so I have to go finish up some other work and I can pick up reading again in twenty minutes or so.

So far I'm enjoying the story.

Wow, that retelling of the Pied Piper blew me away. I had to go look up the background on it and it's so sad. SPOILERS ahead. Go read K. Heuler's piece b4 reading this.

Spoiler:

It's likely that those children were seduced with candy and music and fun and then killed in the foothills. *shiver*

In the Fairy Tale telling always felt sorry for the kid who got left behind.

In a way Karen's story was sweet revenge.
