So I headed out to the gym last night after a too-long two-day break from it. The local HS girl's basketball team seems to sporadically practice there a few nights a week from 7-9. My aunt, who is 39, recently married a man who is 65. The guy is ok, I guess, but it just makes me sad that society really has made us this way. We want what's new, and not old, or aged. So men go after these younger women, in hopes it'll someone raise their rating amongst their peers.
It then in turn forces us women to go above and beyond to remain youthful. My aunt has had so much work done she is basically unrecognizable.
I hope that I never feel unsatisfied with myself. Also, that I'm unmarried and look for men for the wrong reasons (money).
Its a gross cycle that needs to end.

Didn't your boyfriend just buy a house and you a vacation to Disney World? Must be nice if he's a decent guy and has lots of money!
