I think what I love best about Danny in this is that he's so very much himself -- he focuses on different things. The sky is blue, Nicholas is a werewolf, so instead of him going, "Whooooa, a werewolf, TELL ME EVERYTHING," he's thinking more practically, like puppy!Angel wandering around the village, and other things you mentioned. <3
"My dad's," said Danny.
"And your father isn't a homicidal loony, is he?"
This made me laugh. So. Hard.
[...] Then if you don't like the sound of it, I c'n prob'ly set you up with Andy's dad. They sell apples. Can't hurt, can it?"
Hee!
Nicholas's ears twitched and flattened.
Aww, poor puppy! Granted, whenever I see these kinds of descriptions, I imagine Nicholas with big, pointy dog ears, and I shouldn't be. Bah.
And I love Danny being sweet and noticing. A really good match, there. <3

This sir, was an amazing two chapters that made my evening. Also am I the only one who swooned a bit when Nicholas showed up? "Oh, Nicholas Angel." *Swoon* Great job and may I add, Ballz to you!
