Okay, I try not to do this, but bear with me, it’s truly a compliment of sorts.
A Sentence that is Made of Win and Brilliance:
… his face behind the sunglasses drawn into the kind of deep, deadly frown that suggested he wished he were smoking three cigarettes at once and even that wouldn't nearly be enough soothing nicotine to counteract having to deal with this sort of thing.
Oh my, the Andes are perfectly in character in this fic, I can’t believe I haven’t mentioned that until now. You guys nailed their nicotine yellow snarkiness. Of course, everyone is in character, Doris is the perfect fangirl and Tony is, well, awkwardly Tony.
And, oh god, bloody brilliant, yes, art! I do love your lines, sir or m'am, such confidence and dynamism in those pencil strokes. I adore how you did Nickolas with his head turned away like that and the tail tucked between his legs. The red accents are a nice touch as well.
:D The anatomy is all over the place, I'll admit, but I also like Nicholas's ow face. I tried coloring it but it looked pants, so I just threw in some red to show the injuries: ear, face, neck, and alex's rump.
Technically it's a ma'am, but I certainly wouldn't mind being addressed as sir, as long as said person understood which gender I actually was. *non-gender binary is confusing!*
They're all working together to keep their chief from getting the shit ripped out of him in the middle of nowhere. :D Tony, blanket, Bob, checkup, Danny Andy Andy, holding Kinnell down, Doris, camera, twins, RSPCA. And Nicholas to deliver the verbal smackdown.
Looking at Alex is kind of like looking at how Nicholas himself would be if he followed those paranoid instincts to run from Danny and himself. And being able to tell that other self exactly what he can do with himself was immensely satisfying to write

Hanging around in various online galleries I have seen a lot worse, believe you me. Heck, even the comics I read with canines in it have them looking super awkward compared to this, and those are supposed to be drawn by professionals~
Gender on the interbutts is indeed a confusing matter. People often believe me to be a man for some (“manly”) reasons and a woman for other (“girly”) reasons; it is nice to know that their stereotyping is working.
Oh lord, I do. It hadn't been updated for four years, and it's full of awkward Spiderman fanart. Do not venture forth: there be dragons. I recommend seeking out my fanart on sandfordpolice, that's at least within the last two years.
Andy C had fallen over and was currently being dragged through the bracken, facefirst. Andy W was darting after the pole using Nicholas Angel's patented Swan Gathering Technique.
"Stop bein' fuckin' gay all over each other and give us a hand, then!"
I have to agree. The Andes are just perfectly in character here. I love both of them, even if they are wankers.
For some reason, I was very glad to see Bob get a role. Saxon, too. They're both underappreciated characters.
And the art? It's fabulous and such an unexpected treat. I see there's another chapter, too?
Saxon and Bob are so underappreciated. I think in the years I've lurked here, I've only ever seen one drawing of Walker and Saxon, and that was annlarimer's adorable chibi lineup. The Andes and Danny and Nicholas tend to steal the spotlight.
Hee. I couldn't imagine inserting that particular drawing anywhere else. It's especially a reward for anybody who has sat through the prequel(30 pages of singlespaced font 10) and 11 chapters of this(50 pages). That's a lot of reading to go through without getting a single illustration. You guys are awesome~
The last chapter will be posted later today or early tomorrow. There's also going to be an art page, which is going to take a little organizing. Pardon our dust.
