I've got wheels again. . .

I didn't bother to mention it sooner because it didn't matter all that much. I've gotten used to not going out very much. Money became a problem so I just don't "spin my wheels" like I used to. Money got tight about the time that gas prices went through the roof, so I just stay home (I'm retired after all, so I can). I decided not to waste gas ( Read more... )

Just called for an appointment with my primary care. The receptionist says: "Oh, he (main doc) wants to see you when it's for meds", can you come in tomorrow?". Sure, just what I want to do, get up early and waste two hours of my Saturday. Wonder why he is working on Saturday. I'm guessing, he had some snow days and it's effecting his bottom line. :)

Now ... that is a new one on me to lose your door handle. What do you think caused it? Was it a bad set up to begin with that just came loose? Was it rust? I'm really glad you're back in business. I also know what you mean by just curtailing errands. The more you go into stores, the more you spend. It's Murphy's Law!

You know there are times when you just can't open the door because it is frozen shut. . . well, that happened a few storms ago. You pull on the handle until the door opens an viola. . . it opens. Guess it got stressed but didn't show it until this time. :)

Now it makes sense! :) I do recall those times, and can see where it would stress the door mechanism.
