The surgery was done a couple hours ago. I'm fine.
Doc removed a mass slightly smaller than a golf ball.

The mass will be biopsied. I'm not too concerned, for me it mostly means the thing will not reinfect ever again. :)

lol. Oh Joan... lol!!! brain surgery? hahahahaha.

I had a cystic mass removed from my right buttocks. Now, if I were in politics, yah, that would qualify as brain surgery... :)

This abscess started forming in Feb, finally was in a state they could excise it at the end of June, but has reinfected at least twice since.

It was minor outpatient surgery to remove an infecting mass from my right outer butt cheek. lol.

Got to the hospital at 3pm, was back on the way home before 4:30.

It actually never got any smaller than that, bit it was completely under the skin - which is why they did a surgery.
There is no hole, they sutured the incision.

Ewww, I bet you are glad that is gone!! Glad you are ok now.

I'll be more glad in 3 weeks - that's when it should be completely healed and I'll be able to swim / soak in a tub, etc.

Yah, though, I am much happier w/o it than with it!
