Obviously I don't have a crystal ball and don't know how tonight's election will turn out. But I was surfing the Youtube and came across something to make me smile. John Stewart is asking Steven Colbert to lift his spirits, specifically for a Lord of the Rings quote about resiliency and hope amidst despair. And he goes on to quote the passage in

I figured he was gonna quote Sam - either that speech or the one from their time in Osgiliath. And then the laughter afterwards was SOO priceless!!
