[On the camera, she looks much better rested than she did a week ago. She's not 100% yet, but good enough, and her voice sounds much better as well.]Good afternoon, everyone

Shh now, let's not draw attention. It would cause a bit of a stir among the village, and we don't want that. [She's going to make sure Cooro's safe. If it seems best, she'll see if Cooro would stay the night at a friend's house.]
[Iris won't ask about the complications, but will be pinged by the mention of the Center.]
Oh, you are the one that is in charge of the Integration Center? It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Martel. My name is Iris. Miss Rydia helped me a great deal when I first arrived there.
They are, I'm very grateful that you have set up such a place. The Welcome Center has been a blessing in helping me to adjust to life here.
I thank you for the offer, and will ask you for any help I may need. Oh, yes, speaking of which, I would like to volunteer my time there if at all possible. Is there anything you would like me to do to help?
For now, just keep spirits up and learn all you can about the workings of the village. When I return, I'll see more clearly what needs done, and we'll discuss things more thoroughly.
[Eventually he is going to stir to wake, another spell of tiredness passing from his system. (And we'll assume that she's managed to drop the barrier before he's woken up before or it's the first time for it because either way, it's his first time seeing it.) Still sluggish in mind, though his body moved back up to speed pretty quickly, Yazoo is going to stand up and raise a gloved hand to lay his palm flat against the barrier from the inside.
She'll look up from the journal, noticing he's up. A slight 'good morning?' smile, and she'll stand up, stepping over to the barrier a couple of feet to his left and raising a hand like he did. She'll lay her own hand on the barrier a couple of feet beside his, and it's going to act like she laid it on a wall. In explanation:]
In case others arrive and I'm unable to dissuade them from trying to harm you. [She can pass through the barrier if she wants, but she'll leave that bit out. He'd probably see that as a flaw in the barrier itself, and thus less safe.]
[He turned his attention to Martel at the explanation , hand half hovering out of the barrier before he pulled it back. It was almost a strange sensation, passing though it, but Yazoo himself knew enough strange that there was little to throw him off. He replies with a thoughtful 'Hn.' before exiting out the barrier, then turning to trail his gaze from it to Martel.]
I've my own defense. [He very near trails off, because they both knew it wasn't a good one right now, considering the state he had first arrived in. But even so he nodded to her as thanks-Which was much, considering it was acknowledgment that he had little way to protect himself right now.]
[She pauses a second, then lets the barrier drop (AKA disappear). He doesn't need it while he's awake, after all. Then she'll be returning to where she was sitting with the now-closed journal.]
...How are you feeling? [Touchy subject, she knows this. She glances at him as she asks the question, then for a moment longer, but then she averts her gaze to the journal. To take the pressure off, I guess you could say, so she didn't feel like an interrogator. Yazoo's a bit touchy in general, she's found.]

Don't worry about a thing, Martel. Take what time you need and I'll look forward to seeing you around the Center when you're up to it.
[About to go do whatever, but...then she pauses, staring at the image the journal then reveals.]
...one of your complications?

His name is Yazoo. He's not very good at making friends, though, so don't feel bad if he doesn't talk very much, okay?

Pleasure to meet you too, Iris. If there's anything else you need, you'll tell me? Or one of us, at least. [A smile.]
