[He pokes his head into the shop, apparently in the middle of his exploration of the town]

Hello there. I heard you over the-- er..journals? This is a tea shop, yes?

[And she's mopping, hair tied back so it isn't in the way. She glances up at the voice, and smiles.] Good afternoon, Okita! [And she'll prop the mop up against the pile of furniture.]

It used to be the Jasmine Dragon, but the owner returned to her own world. We're converting it into a center to assist New Feathers. [A glance behind the counter.] If you'd like some tea, there's a good amount left.

Good afternoon, Martel-san. [He bows as he enters the shop, careful to tap the dust off his geta at the doorway as he does so.]

That seems like a lovely idea. Is there anything I can do to help get it ready? [He tilts his head to look behind the counter and notes what he'll need to take later.] And thank you. I may help myself a bit later.

[She's glancing upward, looking around.] The corners are full of cobwebs. Would you mind taking a broom to them?

Hmm... I know that place.

Indeed. We're converting it into a center for New Feathers.

... There was no evidence of a battle having taken place there?

Should there have been?

I'm... not certain how much help I can be with physical labor. But I can do what you ask of me.

Alright, thank you! I've a large pile of furniture in the corner, and I'm afraid some of it's a bit awkwardly shaped to carry by myself.

I'll be an extra set of hands for you, then.

And good company, as well.

You know how to find it?

[The voice is hesitant.]

If you're still in need of someone to help with the cleaning, I don't mind helping out.

Kinon, nice to speak with you again.

And I'd love that, thank you.

It's no problem. I'm not familiar with the general layout of this place yet, though; are there any notable landmarks near this teashop?

Do you recall where the fountain is? There's a large square building nearby. Three of the four shops are still occupied. The tea shop is the one that isn't. The door is open as well, if that helps.

[Kadaj is going to lean in the doorway, watching Martel mop.]

[After a minute, she notices him, offering a welcoming smile.] Hello. Kadaj, right?

[He gives a curt nod.] Yes. You seem busy. Do you need any assistance?

[Of everything Yazoo and Jenova had said about Kadaj, they'd never said he was helpful. Not that she objects, of course. She nods once, putting her mop in its bucket and stepping over to the pile of furniture.] Some of this is a bit too awkward-shaped to carry by myself. I'm taking all the theme furniture out to the side lawn. [Meaning anything Japanese, meaning nearly all of it but a few tables and a couple of chairs.]
