Halloween has come and gone.  With the closing of the tradational place we got pumpkins at (Lombardi Ranch) I ended up just getting one at the grocery store.  We had a fair number of kids, although some of them did not look like they were from the neighborhood.  I puzzled over that until I read somewhere about parents from 'bad' neighborhoods ( Read more... )

Well I hope it was just kids looking for safety in a safe neighborhood, rather than an excuse for their larcenous parents to be scoping out potential target houses (i.e. the one who can afford to give out the full sized candy bars) to rob. Yeah that's my faith in human kind. Beyond that good luck with your dental surgery hoping its not too painful for you.

You didn't have your wisdom teeth removed when you were young?

For whatever reason the dentists I saw in my teens and 20's never broached the subject. Since the teeth never made it through the gums they didn't get any decay, so maybe that's why the subject never came up.

You got a panorex Panoramic Dental X-ray.
The new devices are digital, fast and small compared to the film one I remember from my teens when I got braces. It looked like something from Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times.

My body will be easy to identify from all the dental work.
Way too many crowns and implants. Yes, I've had post-and-crowns fail already.
I don't buy teeth, I only rent them since they all fail so often :-(
