BTW, does Dark Matter by Blake Crouch suffer from the same surfeit of torture porn as Wayward Pines? Because, otherwise, it sounds like a book I'd like. Hell, I really liked the parts of Wayward Pines that weren't loving descriptions of brutal injuries.

It's not nearly as bad as Wayward Pines in terms of violence. I would say check it out.

Hey, I've read a few books you've reviewed in the past. And I've been looking for books lately with dragons as MCs/characters (already read The Age of Fire and Bitterwood series, the latter I learned of from you!) so yay for more.
