I was watching The Departed today and I thought 'wow, Ben Affleck must really feel like crud.' Think about it. They (Matt Damon and Ben Affleck) both broke into the business in the same movie but now Matt Damon is the one that is actually a decent actor. Do you think so? I'm not a fan of these actors but how come that among the "Departed" actors, Matt was the only one not nominated in the Golden Globes and Ben was nominated in "Hollywoodland"? And in the Oscar's how come he was not invited and Ben was there?

I guess Matt Damon wasn't nominated because although he gave a strong performance, Leonardo DiCaprio's was stronger. Ben Affleck just seems to pick poor projects--Gigi, Forces of Nature,Jersey Girl, Daredevil.
