To celebrate a little raise at work, my tax return, and my recent sales post, I decided to buy shoes ♥ I bought my first Doc Martens, a pair of Castel needlepoint boots. To break them in, I've worn them a few hours every day around the house and now they're very, very comfortable-- I see why they're termed "bouncing soles."

I read the first book, and liked the plot, but didn't think much of the actual writing. I'll probably end up finishing the series now, though.
