I got off work at 3:00 this afternoon. The day was so nice, I couldn't stand the idea of just going straight home and plopping down in front of the TV again. I have had to go up to Port Townsend twice now for clinic, and with the Hood Canal Bridge closed, I was grumpy about the 101 mile go around. But after driving it once, I eagerly volunteered for the second, just for the beauty , the stunning, awesome beauty of it. It is WELL worth the time, and would be outstanding on a motorcycle.

I've made that ride around the Hood Canal a few times, and I love it.
