I'm so sorry you're feeling like this. I have been there and it is one of the most frustrating, difficult problems I've ever had. For thinking about the laptop, I really only have one suggestion: when you start thinking/worrying about it, say to yourself out loud, "Stop!" I'm prone to the same sort of painful reliving the past, there's nothing worthwhile I can do about it and thinking about it will only make me feel bad, so the best thing I can do is block it out.
I concur with everyone who has said that you should think about seeing a psychologist, preferably someone who specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy, but I'm sure you knew that. I hope you get better soon.
