Two cupcake items:

1. The other day in NYC I saw a cupcake truck. Just like an ice cream truck, but for cupcakes.
2. Slate predicts the death of the cupcake trend.

The cupcake truck is pretty cool... cakes run on the smaller side and usually light on the icing, for $2.50. I think their home turf must be 23rd & Broadway because I see them there nearly every day on my way to work. (Although you can follow them on twitter like most of the hip food trucks these days.)
