A Bit of Blank Verse (A Little Alliteration Also)

I suppose given the date (April 4, no it probably won't mean anything to most of you), I should be writing some sort of emotional poetry, but nature is far more interesting and comprehensible than emotions. that was amazing. simply stunning. you have a certain style of poetry that i love, and this one sounds rather like another poem of yours i read once...speaking of which, is there any chance youll be able to tell me why april 4th is significant? i mean, i have a guess, but i could very well be wrong. i do admit, however, that it has made me curious. back to the poem, however,it could be taken very literally or very figuratively, bc theres a massive amount of potential symbolism there. bottom line, however, is that i loved it. :D

Thanks, glad you liked it. Which poem does it remind you of? I haven't written a lot. I'd be curious to know what symbolism you see in it and whether it's something I'd even thought of. It is supposed to be literally about winter, but certainly there is meant to be meaning to be gained from it. I must admit I never quite clarified in my mind what the central theme or message was, and there were a few different threads mixed in there, so there are probably multiple things one could see.

Well, I've never been a big fan of people giving hints to make one curious if they won't give concrete answers afterwards, and it's not like it's any kind of secret anyway, so April 4th (as you may have guessed) is, if memory serves, when I started going out with Ling last year. I actually haven't been thinking about it too much today, which is nice, and I've been busy with the debate tournament we're hosting.
