Oh MY. I can't articulate how much I love this. All three of them feel in character and yet deeper somehow, more compromising, more open. I definitely get the sense that being in this relationship has made them all better people. Given the summary I was braced for it all to fall apart, but it didn't, and I'm so grateful for that. Seriously well done and thank you.

Ahhh thanks so much for your lovely comment, Sky <3 Sorry I took so long getting back to replying, I've been distracted XD I'm really so very glad you liked this that much, it took a course that I wasn't expecting and yet... I'm kind of in love with the end product. It was definitely something of a joy to write, I'm glad the exchange gave me a chance to get these thoughts out of my head. There's so much more in there regarding these three, I might end up making 2015 the year of the OT3

It was a strange dichotomy of right and wrong (how's that for big words, Gladys?)

And Gene's letting Sam go proving that Sam owned him? You nailed their relationship so well there. It felt 100% true to the show and I love love love it.

All through you write the most gorgeous intimacy in their actions, it brings it to a level of emotion that is just perfect for Gene's POV and keeps it all wonderfully in character. The persuasiveness and happiness make this fic feel warm and totally wonderful and I just enjoyed reading it so much and thank you for writing and posting it <33333333

Thanks XD That line didn't exist at first when I was writing version 2 of this, but when I was rereading it just... fit in absolutely perfectly. Said it out loud in my shoddy Gene voice and everything. ;)
