Ohhhh Sam, you precious, confused thing you. *pets and cuddles him* This is a really nice look at him though, how fxing the place up would be like admitting defeat, Annie being the one who bought him the glasses -- and yes, Sam, it is very rude to refuse a gift, how good of you to have noticed. <3 The way the glasses look like they belong there, and that lovely ending leading into him finally getting his mirror fixed XD It's really great and lovely, I adore what you did with the prompt. Thanks for posting!!!
So glad you enjoyed it. I enjoyed writing it, too. Love writing Sam. Not thoroughly content with my own lodgings, I sympathize with him a good deal. I find myself thinking "There's no point buying that because I won't be able to use it until I live somewhere better..." etc. Writing that sort of thinking for Sam is very easy. :p
NYAWWWWWWWWWWWW Pages this is so lovely!! You got Sam so spot on in this, it's like I'm reading a special extended scene to the series. Sam's reasoning for not getting any new things is perfectly logical, and then Annie gifting him the glasses - absolutely perfect. ♥
Thank you so so much for this lovely ficlet, I really enjoyed reading it and I will definitely come back here to revisit it. ♥
