Experimenting with a X-mas icon. Not sure if I like it yet... but I think it's alright actually :)

I also watched Easy Rider tonight. Interesting movie about 60s, counterculture back then, and yeah, I guess it does say something about America. Although I think it's probably easier to understand if a/ you're an American yourself and b/ watch the ( Read more... )

i learned something fromt his post:
other people say "christmas" in their heads when they see "x-mas". i know this because they write "a x-mas (whatever)".
this seems odd to me because i actually say "exmas" in my head when i see "x-mas". so i would always write "an x-mas (whatever)".
isn't it funny )in a weird but not actually haha kind of way) how different brains work?

haha, funnily enough I've been wondering about that for the last couple of days, and indeed as well when I was writing this post! I simply wasn't sure either whether it should be 'a Xmas...' or 'an Xmas...'. Perhaps I should just start spelling it as 'Christmas', that should solve the problem ;D

Hehe, that's really funny, because my first thought when I read your post was, "Shouldn't that be an X-mas?" But that means I must have been mentally reading it as the letter X and then -mas, rather than Christmas, which is how I always thought I read it. Weird. :)
