hm... may be true, but.. you can put 10,000 songs on there! That would be a lot handier than for example dragging a load of cd's with me when I go on holiday. I'll have to think about it for a little bit...

*doing the maths*

eerr... 27.7 days of permanent music listening? not included the fav songs you listen multiple times to...

how long are these trips? have you got 10000 songs you like to bring?

:-) i think you actually got more use out of a small mp3 player... the 128 Mb stuff... cheap, so you don't even have to be overly concerned about losing them...

and a single battery lasts 8 hours!

hm, yeah, perhaps... although I like the idea of having the choice of my complete cd collection, or at least the cd's I listen to the most... I have 500+ cds easily...

I was walking to work and all of the sudden I hear your voice. I'm thinking "how did that get ON there?"

Martijn, I bought this thing: 40 GB FlashTrax drive from SmartDisk. It's basically a portable hard disk of 40 GB, with an LCD screen. It has a slot for Compact Flash cards, so that it can copy the contents of a CF card to the disk - that's mainly why I bought it, so that I have enough storage space for my digital photos. It can also play MP3's - I just converted my whole collection of Beatles CD's to MP3 with CDex and put them on the FlashTrax.

Is an iPOD only a music player or can you also use it to copy digital photos onto?
