Pat -- I changed the setting on the PDF to open in the same window; check it and see if it works now, if you could?

Hi Professor!
I created the lj account yesterday, but Moodle wouldn't let me open any of the things you posted until just now... [very odd] and so I am a bit late in posting to confirm my presence here. [Sorry about that]. I, too, am quite excited about this class-- the readings thus far have been fascinating. I am now going to attempt to open the E.M Forster- hopefully it will work now, as the instructions for this did.

It isn't working. Is there any way you could email it to me? Or shall I just try to borrow a copy of it from someone else in the class until whatever issue my computer is having with the file is resolved?
Please advise. [If I don't hear from you, I'll just try from a different computer. Until something works.]

Try doing what Patrick suggests above:

Just to note, Moodle yells at me and crashes when I try and bring up the .pdf for The Machine Stops directly. Had to right click -> "save link as" to pull it onto my desktop.

hello. this is jessi. i have some ideas regarding the machine stops. in prep for next class. should i be posting to my lj. or commenting on an entry which youll be making? i dont want to lose these thoughts so i think im going to put them down as an entry on my LJ for now.
