So, check it out...

We all use "I" to establish different things about ourselves, i.e. what we like, what we don't like, how we feel, and who farted (I didn't...).

...but we all use the same word. So does that really make us different at all? Should we switch to referring to ourselves in the 3rd person (which Martin finds pretty neat)? Just a

I don't think so. Using the word 'I' is personal to yourself... yeah, everyone says 'I', but when other people say it to you it's their "I" and not your "I". They are different "I"s. Also, if we all talk in the third person, then how would we know if someone was talking about themselves or someone else they know that might have the same name? Plus, a name is something so that other people know what to call you (besides 'hey you') and it shouldn't be used by yourself because it implies that you don't know your inner-self.

Does that make sense to anyone else? Or am I just rambling...
