As much of a new experience this is going to be for you, I can't also help but think that it will be eye-opening in a very personal way as you meet more people like they guy you described above. People who realize they might not make it back.

This really does sound interesting. I know you're going to see and do many amazing things, and have lots of stories to tell. You're going to be just fine, and if you're nervous, always remember we're never far. ^_^

Wow, I've been out of the loop!!! So, how did ya do on your ASVAB. I can't believe you're military now. Wow!
I miss you guys. I miss the old days when we used to go play Dance Dance Revolution after school. :( Now I just play Midnight at the arcade because I'm too afraid to do DDR without my partner! :(
