"Maybe we're all living in the cave."

*points accusingly* you could just come out and say that you were thinking of what's-his-faces's allegory!

"on average we only use about 10% of our brain capacity"

Common misconception, m'dear. We only use 10% AT A TIME, not on average.

As for the rest of your wonderful post: Been there, done that, been called enlightened. And I'm going to transcend it. My thoughts exactly, but I know I'm getting somewhere. I sound like a raving insane person, but sometimes...soemtimes it feels like there's only a thin veil separating me from something big. I would be posting all my thoughts on this, but due to the time limit, I have to let everyone on LJ think I'm another idiot 13-year-old. I shall make a post. Eventually.

Until then,

Everyone's favorite raving lunatic,

Emily Rose

When I find out that you and rose get called "enlightened" when you post these things, I think maybe I should write down what I rave about to myself. Because I have thought about this before.
As for the bit about knowing your own fate, that reminds me of my comment on Rose's question about godlike powers. Though tat could be just me.

ok...I don't even believe that enlightenment is possible for us to attain with our puny human understanding, so I have no clue why someone would call me enlightened...

Because you sound like you know what you're talking about, and you sound like you're talking about something deep and meaningful.
