Thanks Emily. Now for Kim Thoughts that probably don't matter, as I'm sure no one will read/care.

I'm going to get on a controversial and debate worthy soapbox, if I may. I think it's a well-known fact that I consider myself to be conservative, and I live my life accordingly. It doesn't make me tight-lipped, and it doesn't take away my ability to have fun, as some have suggested. I would also like to note that this fact does not make me ( Read more... )

You should read Ann Coulter. Look her up- you would LOVE her. She also has a book called How to Talk To A Libral...if you must. LOL She is so funny!

I did read your link- this was a HUGE issue on European channels here. It seems to be starting a revolution around the world. :-) Countries are like- well if the US did it.....lol.

I am so happy that our court system is working properly now....lol.

I'm so-so on Ann Coulter. I like her for the most part, and she is funny- however I find her to be a little over-the-top. Like I said, I don't believe in anything being completely black or white. I'm very conservative and it works for me- however, I can see how it wouldn't work for everybody. I'd rather listen to someone who is more live and let live, you know what I mean? When this person is bashing that person and vice verse, it creates such a great divide and whoever does it only brings them to the same level as the opposite side. The one thing that I do know for an absoulte fact however, is that I hate Hilary Clinton. I'm just throwing that out there.

And I love you too! Tell the baby that Aunt Kimmy loves it soooo much. ;)

i read it. furthermore, i can't see why anyone would want a partial-birth abortion, & i'm a freakin' liberal. (the conservative bench terrifies me to the core, but hey, this is a decision i don't want to argue.) & i applaud you for being practical enough to say that all abortions shouldn't be illegal--i think things would be much easier if more people were so practical.

There are things in life that are probably "right", however, it doesn't mean that it would work. In my opinion, banning abortion all together would be "right", but it definately would not work, as people will continue to terminate pregnancies be it legal or illegal. In situations such as that, you kind of have to pick the lesser of two evils. You have to use a certain element of common sense when thinking about these things. Then you have to decide that if everyone were to think just alike, conversations would run dry and the world would become rather dull.

Amen! Im with you 100% on this. I am pro-life to, if dismemberment isnt bad enough, they want to fight on partial birth. In takeing that first breath, and actually being born, doesnt that technically mean that the child is classified as a human being. I thought abortions were supposed to be done on un-born babies. partial birth means partially born, un-born is no longer in the equation. I do understand reasoning for ones that are pro-choice, but partial birth abortions are just plain wrong.
