Normally it wouldn't be a big deal, right? But I almost died in a gas stove explosion once, it sucked until I realized I was still alive. I thought the stove noise was from the refrigerator from hell originally, turns out, the stove/ oven was making warning sounds that it was going to go like an atom bomb.
