I love LJ, because the semi-obligation to update (despite my failures to fulfill it) enforces at least a little bit of self-reflection, which is really nice. Thing is, it doesn't take so much reflection to realize that the past few months--really, even the year--has been a loop-de-looping mind fuck, though fortunately, largely in a good way

As posted before, I'm actually considering a trip to San Francisco. There's no chance I could crash with you is there? We get $500 for travel from this group we're a part of and I don't think it could cover plane and hotel and if we go over $500 I can't go. Of course, I don't know if it's realistic to stay with you when I'll need to spend a lot of time in "the city - not San Fran, noooooooo..." But I recently emailed our contact out there to see if they have any leads on where we could stay, so I'll let you know what comes of that. Glad you're doing well and hopefully this will work out so that we can at the very least have a couple of lunches or something together and catch up!
