I documented "elder care" for the Dictionary of Canadianisms, and they were all "Whoa, yeah, it's in, you're in, whoa."

I am very happy about this!

I still haven't been accepted (or finished my application) for the MA program, but this certainly can't hurt.

No, by "documented" I didn't mean "wrote up a formal entry," I meant "sent them a note that said 'here's a thing, and here's a million citations from Canada and not from elsewhere." It was very cazh, which is why she just wrote back to say they're going to try to credit me with it in the dictionary, but I may have to share it with the person who does the actual legwork.

Only for the entry. I have to get accepted into the program before I have a job. That means I needs to write some emails beggin' for reference letters.
