I'm writing this here for my own edification:

The more detailed version of this case:
I went in for my first actual OB appointment, where I was going to get an ultrasound and maybe see how things have progressed. There had been some lack of clarity between the doctors and I about conception dates, so I honestly had no idea what was going to happen.
